I even tried the s60v3 fp2 patch for n-gage that's floating around the web, but that did nothing besides break my games, and the games themselves, started showing up as trials until i deleted the fp2 patch, and even with the patch installed, games crash regardlessly. After numerous reboots and one battery reinsertion, seems like the auto function in rompatcher works again, but that i also had to disable and reenable couple of times, but i think that might speak for why n-gage might be a bad idea on a e-series device, but i'm not sure.

One thing i've noticed to help is disabling the 2 rompatcher patches, installserver and open4all, and it does fix creatures from the deep, but most other games still crash no matter what, and a weird little side effect, the more i spent playing with n-gage stuff, disabling and enabling rompatcher over and over, as you need the patches enabled to install n-gage games, i noticed at one point the auto function stopped worked, and it would refuse to automatically apply the patches at boot up, and sometimes it would throw up red crosses, as if it couldn't enable the patches anymore, but after restarting rompatcher, they're all green again. After scouring through every n-gage 2.0 installer i could find, only one from phoneky which includes a patch to remove trial limitation from games seemed to work, however, i'm sure not sure if it's fault of mine's or my phone, but most games just seemingly seem to crash after less than 2 minutes or so of playing, and others, do it right after finishing the first level, most common error i've been getting is kern-exec 3, although sometimes i get a different error such as the one in space impact kappa base, where i've gotten a return value -1000008 error the moment level 2 starts up.
